Theta Bed Headboard - the making of
The very first bed I’ve designed and built. In making this bed, I experimented with sculptural elements in a new scale. The headboard is a hand shaped, organic gesture; more graphic than volumetric like my other work. A special sculptural piece now in my personal collection.

In the process of shaping. Started with drawknives and spokeshaves. Refined with rasps, scrapers, and planes. Smoothed out with the belt sander, with chalk marks to guide the way
