Squiggle horse was born of necessity, a utilitarian yet sculptural character. I made these for use around the studio, to hold material or works in progress.  Originally they were going to be very simple, but per usual, I got a little carried away.   The beam I turned as one piece, in a squiggly shape and later split in two.  The legs echo the squiggliness of the beam, splaying in a way that allows them to nest together. Whimsical and surprisingly sturdy.
